Sunshine Productions, a Media House, started in 1997 with an aim of conceiving and creating content in television motion pictures, TV commercials & digital content. Sunshine Productions is proud to have created content for India’s leading networks Star Plus, Zee TV, Colors (Viacom 18), Disney, Bindaas, BBC and Channel V.

The company was founded in 1997 by Director duo Seema and Sudhir, who successfully built this company into one of the top content development & production house in India, with ‘Miley Jab Hum Tum’, ‘12/24 Karol Bagh’, ‘Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha’, ‘The Buddy Project’, ‘Paanch’ being the landmark shows.

Over the years, the team has accumulated a wealth of talent, ranging from actors, researchers, cinematographers, writers, production designers, sound design experts, music composers and directors. All of whom share the same passion towards work as the core team.

This is the mantra and philosophy, Sunshine carried all through. After having had our fill of news broadcasting, Team Sunshine pioneered the concept of ‘Broadcast Design’ way back in 1997 when the Indian TV industry was in its nascent stage. Following which, Sunshine forayed into creating clutter breaking content themselves.

Sunshine won the prestigious Indian Telly Awards (2010), for being The Most Promising Production House and later in 2012 won The Best Youth Show Award for ‘The Buddy Project’ (Channel V).

Sunshine earned the reputation of an outfit that steers away from regular, run-of- the-mill soap dramas and is known to deliver niche youth based and trendsetting realistic content. Our mantra has been ‘Entertainment with relevance.’

At a time when all of Hindi satellite television production found its hub in Mumbai, Sunshine created a landmark with a TV series ‘12/24 Karol Bagh’ by setting up the complete production in a new locale – Delhi. This set a trend among other TV production houses in India who now found the confidence in experimenting shows in real locations out of Mumbai.

For us every series we work on is what we believe in. The founders, Seema and Sudhir, both being directors themselves, work completely hands-on from conceptualization to writing, from shooting to the final product.
