Sudhir Sharma

Sudhir SharmaSudhir started his career in 1993 with TV news programming & later moved to the entertainment side of television. He is armed with a two-year acting & direction course under international theatre doyen Ebrahim Alkazi.

In television, as Sr. Producer he has hands-on experience of Live News, editorial & production. Headed Live News broadcasting from Moscow for an Indian News channel for over a year. He then moved to Zee News, Delhi where he was a Sr. News Correspondent and anchor covering major political stories, scams, etc. He honed his direction skills working with renowned filmmaker Pradeep Sarkar as an assistant director.

In 1996 he directed & scripted top current affairs shows (Including Janta Ki Adalat & Awaaz) for Star Plus with Independent Media, Delhi.

Sudhir’s flair for language and understanding of Hindi theatre led him to pursue his passion for Radio. He gained considerable experience in radio programming by scripting, hosting & producing a number of Radio commercials & radio shows for leading advertising agencies such as Lintas, HTA, O&M in Mumbai. Directed various music videos, commercials and launch campaigns for leading broadcasters in India. The wealth of experience he gained at Ebrahim Alkazi’s Living Theatre has given him a vast portfolio in training actors and speech training. He uses this background to scout for new faces and talent from all over India through various workshops.

In 1997 he founded Sunshine Productions. Today Sudhir spearheads Sunshine with his zest and meticulous planning. He forges the team ahead with business development ideas and by creating & conceptualizing new content.

He successfully built this company into one of the top television content development & production house in Mumbai, with many landmark TV shows such as ‘Miley Jab Hum Tum’, (Star One) ‘12/24 Karol Bagh’ (Zee), ‘Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha’ (Colors), ‘The Buddy Project’, (Channel V) ‘Paanch’ (Channel V), It’s Complicated (Channel V), PMS (Big MAgic), Gulmohar Grand (Star Plus), Tu Con Main Con (Bindaas), Baawarey (Life Ok),  and many more.
